Meet Our
Optometrists - Dr. Adam Bryan and Dr. Kristy
Tart-Bryan
Drs. Adam and Kristy
Bryan are dedicated to improving the eye health
and vision care for the people of Holly Springs,
NC and the surroundind areas. Learn a little bit
nore
about who we are;
Adam is originally from
a small town in southern Illinois. He completed
his undergraduate studies in 2001 at Eastern
Illinois University with a Bachelor's of Science
degree in zoology.
Kristy, a North Carolina
native, began her education at Duke University.
She graduated in 2001 with Bachelor's of Science
degrees in both biology and psychology. After
graduation, we each headed to the Southern
College of Optometry in Memphis, TN,
where we met.
While at SCO, Adam was a
member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the National
Optometric Honor Society, and the International
Gold Key Society.
While at SCO, Kristy received several
merit-based scholarships and was editor-in-chief
of the school's yearbook. |

We were both
heavily involved in volunteering our time and
skills as members of Student Volunteers in
Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH). With the
group, we participated in mission trips to Costa
Rica and the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, where
we provided free eye care services to the locals
who were unable to get proper care otherwise.
Optometry school sweethearts, we got married
between taking exams in the summer of 2003 at
Duke University chapel. We then performed
internships at The Eye Center in Memphis,
Tennessee, at the James H. Quillen VA Hospital
in Johnson City, Tennessee, and with Columbus
Eye Associates in Whiteville, North Carolina. We
received our Doctorate of Optometry degrees in
2005.

For the last 4 years we have lived
in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Adam worked in
a mixed surgical and primary eye care practice.
Along with his duties as a staff optometrist,
Dr. Adam Bryan
served as the Chief of both the Pediatric and
Contact Lens Departments, and gained tremendous
experience in those areas as well as serving as
a consultant for area optometrists on complex
patient cases.
Dr. KristyTart-Bryan has worked for a group
optometry practice in Hope Mills, North
Carolina, providing primary eye care, emergency
treatment, and specializing in contact lens
fittings.
When we're away from the office
If Dr. Bryan has the time, you'll probably catch
Adam on the golf course or watching baseball
(especially the Chicago Cubs).
As for Kristy,
she has her hands full with their two little ones
most of the time. But, she also enjoys
decorating, college basketball, and spending
time with her friends and family all over North
Carolina.
"We both have a passion for
optometry and love helping people to enhance and
preserve their eye sight. Opening Carolina
Family Vision has been a dream for us both. And
now, we have moved to Holly Springs to open up
shop and raise our two beautiful children."...Drs
