Meet Dr. Gerardo Guadarrama (Holly Springs, NC)

Gerardo Guadarrama, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2024 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Illinois University in 2017.

Dr. Guadarrama provides comprehensive eye exams and is focused on primary eye care, ocular disease management, glaucoma care, and specialty contact lenses. During his clinical training and externships, he gained experience in diagnosing and managing a variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, as well as providing pre- and postoperative care.

He became an optometrist because he wanted to help people in a meaningful way and make an immediate impact on their lives. He appreciates that the eyes can reveal important information about overall health and enjoys the unique connection between eye care and the rest of the body.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Guadarrama enjoys building relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds. He values that every exam is different and takes pride in creating a personalized experience for each patient.
